RNT 180581 - Nit 1030590500-1

6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS

An intimate, small-group experience guided by indigenous women leaders in ancestral territory.

You're not coming here to explore the jungle. You're coming here to listen to yourself.
THE DESTINY

La Chorrera is not a tourist destination. It's a living territory where the rainforest teaches, the water is clean, and the women remind us of their power. You'll live alongside indigenous communities and surrounded by untouched nature that invites you to slow down and listen.

WHY IT’S PREMIUM

  • Access to remote Amazon territory

  • Small group (max 8–10 women)

  • Direct learning from indigenous women elders

  • Private guided logistics

  • Ethical cultural partnership

  • Full facilitation and support

This is rare access.
It is offered with trust and intention.

WHAT THIS IS

There are moments in life when the body craves pause, the soul yearns for silence, and the heart yearns for truth. Traveling to Heal is an experience created for women who are ready to reconnect with themselves in one of the most sacred places on Earth.

This is not tourism.
This is immersive cultural exchange.

For six days, you will live and learn alongside indigenous women from the Okaina and Uitoto communities, participating in daily practices rooted in water, fire, earth and air.

THE EXPERIENCE

You will respectfully immerse yourself in the daily life of three Amazonian ethnic groups. Not as a spectator, but as a learner. A traditional ceremony opens the way to their territory. Water cleanses and brings order. Fire teaches strength and community. The earth reveals the profound role of women in life and sustenance. The air restores voice, song, and the body's memory.

You will learn about feminine plants, Indigenous worldview, weaving as an act of healing, and the power of dawn and dusk as spaces of awareness. All guided by local Indigenous elders and accompanied by facilitators from the agency.

This is not cultural tourism. It is presence, exchange, and giving back.

Who is this trip for?

TRAVEL

Water – Cleansing at sacred waterfalls
Fire – Weaving, cooking and ancestral knowledge
Earth – Cultivation and feminine role in community
Air – Voice, plants and cyclical wisdom
Memory – Visit to historical site of the rubber era

Day One - Thursday

Crossing the Threshold: Permission to Enter the Origin

We arrived in the Amazonian territory and began the symbolic journey: leaving behind the external noise and making space for listening.

That night, local elders welcomed us with a traditional ceremony, granting us permission to enter the rainforest. It wasn't just a geographical arrival: it was a conscious entry into a living territory, guided by women who safeguard their ancestral memory.

We slept knowing we had been welcomed.

Day Two - Friday

Water: Purification and Remembrance

Before dawn, we hiked to the imposing Nof+ko waterfall, where we greeted the rising sun amidst the water and the jungle.

There, we shared breakfast and our first talking circle. Then we set off on a hike to the Ed+monue waterfall, where the activities revolved around water as an element of cleansing, liberation, and feminine memory.

Gentle rituals, silence, contemplation, and deep connection. We camped beside the waterfall, sustained by the constant sound of the water, remembering that everything flows.

Day Three - Saturday

Fire: The Force that Transforms

From the waterfall, we hiked to an Okaina longhouse, where a group of women welcomed us to share their wisdom.

We learned about fire as an energy of creation and transformation. We wove, cooked, lit a campfire, and shared food and stories. Fire not only warms us: it teaches discipline, strength, and community.

We slept in the traditional longhouse, under the protection of ancestral wisdom.

Day Four - Sunday

Earth: The Body that Nourishes

We visited a maloca (traditional communal house) of the Uitoto people, where the women taught us about the profound connection between body, land, and food. We learned about the female role in cultivation, planting, and the transmission of life.

The land as a teacher of patience and sustenance. It was a day of hands-on learning, cultural exchange, and understanding the territory as an extension of the female body. The rainforest reminded us that nourishing is also power.

Day five - Monday

Air: Voice, Cycle and Feminine Wisdom

We returned to La Chorrera and stayed in an orchidarium, surrounded by vibrant biodiversity.

The element is air: voice, breath, song. Local women share their knowledge of medicinal plants, understanding the female body, the menstrual cycle, traditional diets, and ancestral midwifery.

It's an intimate day of listening and expansion. Wisdom flows like the wind: invisible, yet transformative.

Day six - Tuesday

Memory: Honoring to Heal

We visited the historic Casa Arana, a place marked by the genocide of the rubber boom era.

It is a space of memory and awareness. Understanding the past is part of returning to our origins. We honor those who resisted and recognize the strength of the communities that live on today.

At midday, we began our return to Bogotá, carrying with us not only memories, but also lessons learned directly from women who, for the first time, opened their territory for respectful exchange with travelers.
